Social and Word of Mouth Marketing to Help to Engage Customers

Social and Word of Mouth Marketing to Help to Engage Customers
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jerry_O_Smith]Jerry O Smith

Today, managing a business requires an in-depth understanding of how to target and reach an audience on a variety of mediums including using traditional advertising and marketing as well as marketing online with social media and word of mouth engagement. When you want to know how to use word of mouth marketing to get in touch with your current audience while attracting a new audience as well, you can do so by following a few tips.

Researching Your Target Audience to Properly Engage Them

Before you can launch a word of mouth marketing campaign or even a social media campaign, it is important to get a complete understanding of the audience and demographic you are targeting. Understanding the age group, location and even the interests of those who frequently use your services or purchase your products will help you to launch successful and engaging social and viral marketing campaigns.

Researching the audience you want to attract and appeal to will also help you with determining the best plan of action when developing a marketing strategy that is either humorous, informative or even touching depending on the brand you are representing and how you want to appear to potential customers. Conducting research and utilizing focus groups can help you to gain insight into the type of viral campaign that is likely to be more successful than even paid advertising or marketing in print magazines, on the radio or even as commercials.

Keeping Communication Open After Engaging Customers

Once you launch a social media marketing campaign or a viral and word of mouth advertising and marketing campaign it is important to keep the communication between you and your customers as open as possible. Keep your customers engaged in your marketing plans by allowing comments, video responses and encouraging others to get involved to somehow participate in the campaign you have launched. The more your customers and fans can engage and interact with the marketing campaign you are running, the more likely they are to remember the marketing campaign while purchasing services or products from your company as well.

Being Consistent in Your Business Practices

After launching any type of marketing campaign, whether it is word of mouth or even using social media, it is vital to stay consistent in your updates and in keeping your word with anything that you promise to your customers within your marketing campaigns (such as specials, deals or even new releases). Being consistent with your business practices allows you to keep your customers and fans engaged while helping to boost your reputation with word of mouth and even with the sharing of social media updates, “tweets” and posting of links and new content you have to offer.

Car Heater Not Working – Blowng Cold Air!

The blockage can sometimes be unstopped by removing the heater hoses and using a garden hose with a sprayer to flush the heater core out. If neither of the hoses are hot to the touch, there could also be a malfunctioning heater control valve, if used on the model you’re working on. Check for presence of a heater control valve by following the heater hoses back to the engine. Sometimes, a vacuum line could have a break causing there to be no vacuum to operate the valve.

Car Heater Not Working – Blowing Cold Air!
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dennis_Bandy]Dennis Bandy

There are several reasons why your car’s heater may be blowing cold air, instead of heat. It is important to understand how the heater works in your car before you can begin to try to diagnose why it is not working. First, there is NOT an electric heater element in the heater system in automobiles, like in portable heaters used in the home. The part that transfers heat into the passenger compartment is called a heater core. A heater core can be thought of as a miniature radiator. The car engine’s coolant flows through the heater core while the fan (also called a blower), blows air through the heater core fins. When air blows through the heater core fins, it is warmed, therefore warming the passenger compartment.

Start by checking the coolant. As we already said coolant is what warms the heater core. So if the coolant is low, there may not be a sufficient amount of warmth to transfer heat to the air in the passenger compartment. Since it ‘s cold outside, low coolant may not effect the operating temperature of the engine significantly, so you won’t be alerted to a coolant problem by the temperature gage on the instrument panel. Once the coolant is full, feel the heater hoses that go through the firewall. With the engine at normal operating temperature, BOTH of the heater hoses should be hot to the touch. If only one is hot, this indicates there is is a blockage in the heater core or there is air trapped in the heater core. Using a Lisle coolant funnel is helpful in purging the air from the cooling system. If the coolant is really brown, has been neglected, or if “stop leak” has been used at some point, the heater core could be stopped up. Also it should be noted that if this is your first winter with this car (and you’re unfamiliar with the car’s repair history), the previous owner could have by-passed the heater core because of a leak. When a heater core leaks, usually they wet the passenger side floorboard. The labor cost to change heater cores is usually expensive, so sometimes people will loop the heater hoses and by-pass a leaking heater core instead of repairing it properly.

Next check for proper airflow. After you’re sure the heater core is getting hot water flow, read the following information. Doors within the heater case are either controlled by electric actuators, cables or vacuum motors. Adjust the heat control to both extremes while listening for movement of the blend door. With a cable operated heater door it’s easiest to hear the door thump when it closes. If the door is not operating, find the door that controls the airflow across the heater core. If there is an electric motor that controls the door, tapping on it can sometimes make it work temporarily for testing purposes. A vacuum operated motor needs vacuum to work, so using a handheld vacuum pump for testing is usually recommended. If the vacuum motor does not hold vacuum, the diaphragm is leaking requiring replacement. To go deeper into diagnoses of the control head’s function and diagnosis, specific vehicle repair manual information is needed. But hopefully the basics laid out in this article has helped to get you started on the right track.

Self Esteem and Self Confidence – Two Different Things

Self Confidence and self esteem are two different concepts, two separate parts of who and how you are in the world. You can be very self confident in many areas of your life and yet suffer from low self esteem.

Self Esteem and Self Confidence – Two Different Things
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ali_Bierman]Ali Bierman

Self Confidence and self esteem are two different concepts, two separate parts of who and how you are in the world. You can be very self confident in many areas of your life and yet suffer from low self esteem.

Confused?

Self esteem is how you feel about yourself. You alone make you feel good about yourself. You alone make you feel bad about yourself.

As a psychotherapist I heard people blame others for putting them down and destroying their self esteem. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “You cannot keep a good man down without his permissions.”

No one has any power over you and no one can tell you how to feel about yourself. If someone makes a remark that you choose to interpret as hurtful or a put-down realize that you chose to take in the remark that way.

What if, in doing or saying what they did, that person had no idea you would assign the meaning you did and feel hurt? What if that person had zero intention of putting you or anything about you down?

Chances are that what I just proposed is accurate. Very few people speak with an intention to hurt others. Sure, there are some people who feel so bad about themselves they attempt to make themselves feel better by putting others down thinking that makes them superior. Of course that is their belief system (BS) and has no basis in reality.

Plain and simple, like everything else in your life, you totally create and control how you feel about you. In any moment, if you catch yourself beating yourself up or putting yourself down you can catch yourself and replace those thoughts with others that empower you to feel good about being you.

Self confidence is all about how well you feel you do the tasks you perform. When you know you do something well you have high self confidence. When you know you possess certain talents you feel very confident in those areas of your life.

Can you see that a person can be very self confident yet have low self esteem? Of course a person can perform amazing feats and suffer from both low self confidence and low self esteem.

Witness the number of celebrities (actors, sports figures, politicians) with drug problems. Most of them are very talented and very good at what they do. They clearly are very confident that they will perform well most of the time. They have high self confidence yet, if they were happy being who they are as they are, why would they turn to drugs to feel good?

People who need the adulation of others to feel good about themselves lack the self esteem that allows them to feel good about themselves just because they exist. Self esteem and self confidence are both do-it-yourself jobs.

And if you have doubts about how well you are doing with your self esteem and self confidence then I invite you to create new behaviors to raise both. I just wrote a new Special Report: 45 Tips To Live in Happiness Now. Click here to get your copy.

And remember… Don’t give up hope… You deserve to be happy

#1 Appreciate Your Physique:
Those females you see in the pages of some newspapers, magazines and TV ads are often not realistic representation of real women. When you are always seeing size 4 women and you are a size 10, it can make you to start feeling undesirable or less good about yourself. Don’t mind the media! Walking around your community, you will see women of different sizes, shapes, colors and heights; know it that being beautiful and sexy comes in different forms including your own. Appreciate and celebrate yourself because you are wonderfully and beautifully made by God – the master designer. Fell good about yourself. Note: the value you place on yourself matters a lot in life.

#2 Have Positive Thoughts and Beliefs:
Replace negative and disempowering thoughts with life-uplifting and enriching thoughts. For example, if you think you are ugly, this will become real to you because your mind paints your world. Even if you have made mistakes in the past, forgive and encourage yourself. When things aren’t going well, relax and give yourself pep talks. Positive thought, confession and doing yield positive result. Affirm, “I am beautiful and unique!”

#3 Avoid Unhealthy Comparison:
Unhealthy comparison of yourself to another person will only make you feel bad. No two people are the same; every woman is unique and special. You can’t be like Ozichi Onuoha, Tammie Roundtree, Mitchell Obama, Georgenia Chigozie Onuoha, Angelina Jolie, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Noni Ntaka Camagwini, Agbani Darego, Paula White, Dora Akunyilu or Naomi Harris and they can never be like you. Be the best you! You were born an original; don’t die a copy.

Though women are called the weaker sex, they are endowed with great potentials that are enriching lives 24/7. Self-esteem gives power and vigor to a women’s life and it can be boosted with self-confidence. Do those things that empower and make you happy; these boost yourself-esteem.

Horse Training Power Tip: Responding to Pressure Is Vital for Great Training

Teaching the fundamental response of moving away from pressure is key to accomplishing good training and a good relationship with your horse. Whether it is leading your horse, the main focus of this article, loading your horse into a trailer, or general handling of your horse, these are power tips you won’t want to miss! The principles apply to work under saddle as well.

Horse Training Power Tip: Responding to Pressure Is Vital for Great Training
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jennifer_L_Dayton]Jennifer L Dayton

A horse’s response to pressure is a key component to training him. Think about what you ask him to do: follow you into a stall, an arena, a wash rack, a horse trailer. To move away from your leg in lateral movements – leg yield, shoulder-in, haunches-in, opening a gate while mounted; to stop and to turn on the halter… all are common examples of response to pressure.

When your horse was a newborn foal, he kept very close to his mother. He did this for warmth, comfort and protection. As he grew, he wandered further from his dam, but would quickly return when he was startled or alarmed by an activity or sound. These instinctual behaviors never left when your horse was weaned. The instinct is to move INTO pressure; feeling safer closer to someone, and if there is not an alternative, that someone can be you. This is not a safe thing for you, however, and this idea is merely one example of the guiding principle that horses need to learn to move away from pressure.

Good ground work and halter training teaches the youngster to respond to pressure. To further develop this, the pressure should be from different stimuli: the halter and the handler. Consistency is so important for any horse, but particularly the young horse that is much easier to leave an impression on as their interactions and experiences are limited.

Focusing on the response of the halter pressure, there are three components to the halter that should result in three responses. Think about the parts of the halter. The horse should respect the pressure applied to the noseband, the headstall, and the cheek pieces of the halter. This is the most simplistic way to explain it, and many experienced handlers do this intuitively. For many others though, the handler simply hasn’t thought of it, and continues to endure poor behavior from their horse, not knowing what to do. In some cases, it becomes apparent that the horse behaves one way with one person, and another way with another person. The horse senses the confidence and knowledge of the person handling them, and the only way to improve the situation is to become aware of the problem, and consistently work on it.

So what does this idea look like? Applying the pressure should evoke an immediate result, in a soft way. Many times, the softness comes after some strong applications of pressure, especially when the horse has been confused by inconsistency. To make it plain and simple, if you put pressure on the headstall – the part that goes behind the horses’ ears, then the horse should move forward. If you put pressure on the noseband, the horse should yield or stop. If you put pressure on the sides of the halter, the horse should turn his head. The horse, with consistency, will often respond to the body language you have when you apply the aids, and you can improve the sensitivity of this after the foundation is laid. For example, if you start to jog alongside your horse, he should immediately begin to trot. If you stop, your horse should stop. Proper leading should involve turning your horse away from you when turning around, to minimize the risk of getting your feet stepped on, and lifting your hand to initiate the turn is fairly easy for the horse to understand.

When your horse is responsive to these pressures, the idea of loading into a trailer or a wash rack is also simplified. Most often, the difficulties in asking your horse to come into an enclosed space when it is resistant to go, is a resistance of the pressure applied to the headstall of the halter. The most vital mistake people make with this is not softening to the horses’ response. The horse must get a release when they respond, to reinforce the behavior. Difficulty in loading will come from a horse starting to yield to the pressure that is initially applied, but when getting no release for having yielded, they learn to back against it even stronger, or fly back. Never forget the importance of release.

Success with this, under saddle or on the ground, will come with the well-timed release. The importance of reading body language – knowing when the horse is saying no, when it is genuinely frightened, or when it doesn’t understand is also key. For more information on these points, see the articles on body language, trailering, and response to pressure under saddle.

Our horses love to please and to be led by a fair and consistent leader. You are on the right track by reading more about training ideas and techniques, and should be commended for that.
