How Many Meals Should We Have Per Day And Why?

How Many Meals Should We Have Per Day And Why?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Michael_Janamian]Michael Janamian

You are supposed to eat at least three “square” meals each day to ensure your body gets a steady supply of energy. You are also told that a few snacks during the day helps to cut any loss of energy. That is a lot of eating in a busy world! This is why it is imperative that you make every bite count, and the one certain way to do that is to eat fresh, live, and raw foods. These deliver optimal nutrients, enzymes, and energy to your body.

While it is simple enough to grab fresh fruits and vegetables as snacks, and to use things like raw nuts and seeds too, it can be a bit more challenging when it comes to making vegetarian meals that are complete and healthy.

The good news is that many vegetarian dishes use a combination of foods to ensure that the meal is “complete”. This would mean that all of the macronutrients (fat, protein, and carbs) are provided in the right proportions, and that most of the essential vitamins and minerals are represented too.

As an example, you could make something as simple as brown rice dish that features a few vegetables, some mushrooms, a few savory herbs or onions, and a sauce that uses good oil and seasonings. To ensure complete protein, you could add snow peas to the brown rice (forming an ideal protein component), and then boost the nutrient and fiber counts by putting in vegetables in every color – red and yellow peppers, broccoli, baby eggplant, and more.

In that one simple steamed vegetables and brown rice main course you will have obtained a huge portion of the daily essentials. If you had started that day with some whole grains (such as a good muesli, bread, or cereal) a bit of fruit, and some soy based cheese or silken tofu, you would have also ensured total balance and nutrition.

Remember that you want to always strive for that vital balance across the day. The human body is amazing, and takes what it needs from the foods consumed. However, this means that unless you eat at least three balanced meals per day, your body may miss out on what it needs because you did not give it the chance to obtain it from diet.

When you elect to eat a vegan or vegetarian diet, you will get ample fiber, nutrients, and macronutrients from main course dishes, and you can use them to ensure you remain energized and running at your peak. Pace yourself, however, and spread out your food intake and energy consumption over the course of the day using meals and snacks.

As always, using organic, raw, fresh, and living food sources ensure your success. So keep that in mind when shopping and planning your meals. Also remember that a small tossed salad dressed with nut oil and citrus and sprinkled with nuts and seeds can really “round out” any of the main courses.

You Have to Market BEFORE You Sell

Over 80% of entrepreneurs make this mistake. And they can lose the same amount in business. What have they done? They’ve confused marketing with selling!

You Have to Market BEFORE You Sell
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dawn_Ferguson]Dawn Ferguson

What is one of the biggest mistakes that you can make with your business that will drive away potential clients, cash, as well as those much needed collaborations? Is it undercharging? No this will just keep you working long hours for little pay. Is it over delivering? No, this will just attract clients who love to take without giving (and what you give will never be enough for them). Is it trading dollars for hours? No, this will just limit the size of your business to the small numbers you can serve individually.

One of The biggest mistakes you can make in your business is confusing selling with marketing! Selling is an exchange of money for a product or service. It involves an agreement between you and the client regarding your process and details. Marketing is a message directed at a specific audience, addresses their top of mind painful problem, thereby attracting the listener to you, and your business, for their solution.

What happens when you sell instead of market? Your audience feels you are pushy, that you’re not listening to what they need, you’re only in this for yourself, and you really don’t care about them. What happens when you market instead? You deliver a message that you care because you understand what your audience is going through. In turn this sets you up as the expert and specialist who people want to work with and/or refer (even at much higher fees). And all of this is accomplished with you feeling great about what you do and who you serve!

Selling has its place because it appeals to the conscious mind. This is the part of your client’s mind that retains data as well as makes rational decisions. The conscious mind operates through short-term memory, this is why it is best to have everything spelled out in writing for your client, that they can reference later. The most important thing to know about the conscious mind is that it engages after the subconscious mind has been activated.

The subconscious mind is where all your clients buying decisions are made. And those decisions are based on emotional needs getting met, not data, or processes. Very important, the subconscious mind is home of lasting memories. Plus, the subconscious mind loves dealing with exact information through symbols, such as a client avatar. If you use phrases such as; everybody, somebody, anybody, the subconscious mind does not have a symbol for those words and will thereby disregard the message.

So, let’s look at an experience many entrepreneurs and salespeople go through if they use network marketing meetings to build their business. A business person stands up, states their name, what they do, and what type of referral they are looking for (yawn). Does any of this stir up emotions? Is there any type of painful problem mentioned with its corresponding avatar that the subconscious mind can lock onto? Is there any reason for the subconscious mind and its long-term data storage, to retain this information? No. So the business person must rely on the repetition of meeting after meeting after meeting, before their message does its job delivering clients, cash and collaborations.

In fact, let’s look at sales numbers for the average salesperson: 3%: this is the amount of people looking to buy your product or service right now. The client has researched answers to their painful problem and is ready to invest in a solution. So was the sale you just made really based on your marketing expertise or did you just happen to be in the right place at the right time?

17%: this is the amount of people who are either ready to buy from you or give you a direct referral within the next 30 days. These are the clients as well as collaboration partners who are looking for an answer to their pain or their client’s pain. You can see an immediate overall increase in sales of 17% by moving your message from selling into marketing.

20%: these are the people that will never do business with you. For whatever reason, whether it’s your personality, your product, or them, they are not your client. Quit chasing them! 60%: This is your area of extreme growth in your business. These are the clients who are experiencing a challenge they rate as an annoyance, which will soon become painful. What will move them to take action is a marketing message that addresses their painful problem that they are experiencing.

Remember, the subconscious mind makes all that buying decisions based on emotion. Design your message around the resolution of that painful problem and you will experience greater sales as well as referrals.

Your Plan of Action:

1. What is your client avatar?

2. What painful problem are they experiencing?

3. Is this problem top of mind for them?

4. Is this problem urgent?

5. Are they willing to pay for the resolution to this problem? Questions three, four, and five all need to be yeses.

Market to engage your audience and move them into action. Sell when someone is ready to invest in their solution through you.

Being Dismissive: A Dirty Workplace Behavior

Having a hard time listening to others can make you look foolish at work. Getting others to listen to your ideas can be an art. Here are a couple of quick ways to switch it up.

Being Dismissive: A Dirty Workplace Behavior

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Vivian_A._Scott]Vivian A. Scott

Isn’t it frustrating when you have an idea that you’re dying to share and after getting only a few words out someone cuts you off or moves on to the next person? Yeah, me too; and that’s just one example of dismissive behavior in the workplace. Moving things along in a business setting is necessary at times but the way in which it’s done can make the person doing it look foolish as much as it makes the recipient of the action feel small.

If you’re the one feeling dismissed, be open to the reality that the way others react to your ideas may have something to do with your delivery. Consider how you could come across more succinctly (think bullet points!) and get to the benefit of your idea quickly. Actually, think about starting with the benefit. Saying something like, “We could raise our customer service rating by 10% if we… ” is sure to grab attention faster than saving it for a big finish.

What if you’re the one who’s been accused of being dismissive or flip? Try giving yourself an internal time limit before you speak-especially if the current speaker wants to share a feeling or emotion about something. Better yet, ask at least one question about whatever it is he’s saying before you consider whether his contribution is worth exploring or his concerns are valid. “Tell me what makes you think that” or “What would be the benefit for trying that” are perfect (and quick) ways to help the speaker get to the point faster and avoid losing your attention.

L + R + B = Cha-Ching!

The typical buyer doesn’t Follow-up! (stats show often times it’s around the 15th follow-up when a sale is made.) And if he does, it’s not strategic, it’s not for more than a couple days, and he’s not adding value to the people on his list.

L + R + B = Cha-Ching!

Ever bought a Solo Ad and the results were just plain bad?

Now, don’t get me wrong. There are some BAD Solo Ad providers out there that are stinkin’ up the space!

But let’s say this was a ‘reputable’ provider that you got a good recommendation from.

And yet when you tried it out, you got el-zilcho sales!

Looking at a lot of marketers businesses, I see most often that the Solo Ad vendor is NOT the issue.

It’s the Buyer.

GASP!

So here’s a little formula I’ve found that really helps out. It’ll add a nice chunk of change to your bottom line too.

L + R + B = Cha-ching!

L- List

R- Relationship (Relentlessly follow-up with value)

B- Back-end (High Ticket)

= All the sales you’ll need to make a great profit online without much hassle at all.

The typical buyer doesn’t Follow-up! (stats show often times it’s around the 15th follow-up when a sale is made.)

And if he does, it’s not strategic, it’s not for more than a couple days, and he’s not adding value to the people on his list.

And that’s exactly the things he SHOULD be doing if he wants a successful ad campaign and business.

It’s not rocket science but the blind truly are leading the blind out there and most just don’t get it.

1- Offer a great incentive to entice people to join your list.

2- Instantly deliver that incentive and make sure it’s awesome-sauce. (i.e. make it valuable, helpful, give an ‘aha’ moment, save them time, etc… )

3- Continually follow-up and add massive value to your list. Don’t beat em’ like a hammer with your offer right away. Nurture them.

4- Continue to add value and build the relationship up, and when you do promote to them make sure it’s something you 110% stand behind and know will work for them. Even add in some bonuses and support to help them out further. That will also make the offer even more irresistible.

*I’m talking EPIC bonuses.

Not lame PLR and old PDF’s you can find with a simple Google search.

5- In this mix, you are in this to also profit, and so your conversions need to work out in your favor too.

The best way to manage this is to have automated High Ticket offers in your back-end marketing. This is time intensive and hard to do yourself.

So the best thing to do in my opinion is to become an Affiliate or Licensee to a High Ticket program that will allow you the Highest Commissions possible and will provide incredible value to your list as well.

. Remember, anybody can buy a Solo Ad and have 500 people on their list by tomorrow. The key is to add value and follow up consistently. Stand out and be awesome.

Seriously, give it a try. Taking action with this will get you solid results and it’ll be your first step to Turning Pro.

What Causes Northern Lights and When Can You See Them?

What Causes Northern Lights and When Can You See Them?

Northern Lights Explained

Electrically charged particles in the sky, in large numbers, traveling at high rates of speed are what causes Northern Lights. As these particles speed along toward Earth, they collide with air particles along the magnetic field. This is when the sky lights up and the colors reflect what gases are in the atmosphere at the time, with the most common color being yellow green. The yellow green color comes from the oxygen, the red color comes from the nitrogen and oxygen mix, and the blue color comes from the nitrogen alone.

The charged particles actually come from the sun. The condition of the weather on the sun determines if we see the beautiful aurora in the sky. Once the particles are caught in the magnetic field of the Earth, they are pulled around to the Polar Regions. This is when the lights are displayed in the areas closest to the Polar Regions such as Norway, Alaska and Canada.

When Can You See Northern Lights?

Now that you know what causes Northern Lights, you need to know when you can see them. The best time to see the lights is in the winter months. The reason why that is, is that the sky is its darkest in the winter and no other lights appear in the sky to distract from the beautiful show.

Depending on where you are, the lights will show every night, every other night or even a couple times a month. The area that has the most views of the Northern Lights is Norway. You can see them almost every other night if the sky is clear. The truth is that you can see the lights in the regions south and north of the aurora zone as well. However, you might have to wait for just the right time if you are outside of Norway.

Since you now know what causes Northern Lights, and when you can see them, you can plan to see this incredible light show sometime in the future. Although you have to see them in the winter months, Norway is popular because of the mild winters that make it a little nicer than some place where the temperatures fall well into the single digits.

Although we know what causes Northern Lights [http://www.northernlightsguide.com/what-causes-northern-lights.html], there are still those who are skeptical as to their true cause. Because science is always studying the phenomenal occurrence, more and more people are taking the trip to the Polar Region to see what the beauty of the lights is all about. They soon become believers and follow the Northern Lights and the Southern Lights to learn as much about them as possible.

The auroras (also known as the northern lights) are one of the wonders of science. Let northernlightsguide.com [http://www.northernlightsguide.com] provide you with great information on this spectacle.
