Mount Fuji rises to over 3776 meters above sea level. This mountain is deeply rooted in the popular culture and beliefs of Japanese. Until now, Fuji is a place of pilgrimage for many Japanese that is why it is considered as the whole myth of Fuji. The first ascent of Fuji was back in the year 663. Today, more than 200,000 visitors climb Fuji every year, but most of these visitors are Japanese. Indeed, less than a third of the 200,000 annual visitors are foreigners.
Fuji is a symbol of Japan and its major tourist attraction is considered unique in the world. Fuji is not only a tourist attraction, but this legendary mountain is also the object of veneration and worship in some religions in Japan. Besides being a tourist and religious interest, Fuji is also the site of numerous scientific studies including climatology, meteorology, and especially in the scientific research of volcano.
The Mount Fuji
Fuji which has many other names in Japanese is located in the main Japanese island of the archipelago, the island of Honshu. It is located a hundred kilometers from the capital Tokyo, taking the north-east. Fuji is located on two prefectures namely the prefecture of Shizuoka and prefecture of Yamanashi. Fuji is a volcano and as such it has the classic shape of a volcano. It has a conical shape with flattened top matched by a huge crater about 700 meters at the widest diameter and 500 meters in the smallest. The foot of Fuji are spread over 30 kilometers. Fuji rises to 3776 meters and with this height, the top of the mountain almost covered with snow. The atmosphere reigning on Fuji is generally cold because of the altitude but there are also variations in climate and vegetation varies from the foot to the mountain peaks. Five lakes are located in the vicinity of Mount Fuji namely Lake Yamanaka, Lake Motosu, Lake Sai, Lake Shoji and Lake Kawaguchi.
Tour on Mount Fuji
There are several ways to get to Fuji. In fact to climb Fuji, one must reach one of the four stations at the foot of the mountain namely Kawaguchiko-Yoshida Guichi which is accessible by bus from the station of Kawagushiko, Subashiri-guchi station, Fujinomiya guchi Station and Gotemba-guchi station.
Upon arrival at a station, you can begin the ascent of Fuji. It is generally advisable to practice the climbing of Fuji during the summer because the winters are harsh and too cold. It is advised also to take certain precautions before climbing; such as wearing warm clothes to protect against hypothermia, wearing of gloves and hats, not to ignore water and other essential materials. After the climb, visitors can enjoy magnificent views and a breathtaking sunset; the exploration which is unforgettable.

Your Drive and Inspiration Must Come From Within
All enduring and sustainable inspiration must come from within each individual. That is why it so important for leaders to empower their team members and to support them to have a vision for the future of their own. As it is the inner drive or inspiration of each individual and their ability to have a personal vision, which will propel each team member to deliver their best, which in turn will allow the team to enjoy long term sustainable success. The vision of the leader can never inspire the members of their team, unless each individual can embrace the vision and make it their own.

The vision of the leader can never inspire the members of their team, unless each individual can embrace the vision and make it their own.
Know Why you want to do Anything and Nothing Can Stop you
My experience has shown me that, the success of your efforts does not depend on the efforts themselves, but rather on the individual’s motive for carrying out the actions in the first place. Super achievement, where individuals have excelled or where they have built great business success, has in most cases, been driven by an unfathomable desire to express themselves, by solving a problem using their skills and knowledge as best they could. They felt compelled and driven to express their inner vision and nothing could stop them.
Do not Pursue Money as your Primary Objective
Yes, super achievers do earn plenty of money and in many cases are able to amass great fortunes for their efforts, but that can never be the prime driver of your efforts. To drive sustainable long term success, the driver of super achievement must be inspired by an inner magnificent obsession, a deep rooted passion. Profit and making money must be a wonderful by-product and never the prime objective for anyone who wants to become a super achiever.
Inspiration comes from Within
Human greatness can never be motivated externally. It must be driven by a deep rooted desire, which comes from within. Discover what you love to do and the fire of inspiration will burn brightly from within. Nothing, no challenge or obstacle will stop you from succeeding. When you discover your own “magnificent obsession” and you work daily to become the person you need to be to live it. Everything around you will support your efforts to succeed. The resources will almost effortlessly flow into your experience. Success is a becoming; it is never something you can successfully pursue.
Uncover your Magnificent Obsession
When you know what you really want and you have unlocked your “magnificent obsession” there will be a fire, which burns from within. You will have an inspired mind-set and you will see an abundant universe, filled with endless opportunities to move you along the path, to the future you have envisioned. The drive and passion, which comes from unlocking your Magnificent Obsession or reason for being, is an incredible, unstoppable force, which will buoy your inspiration daily and drive you to do whatever it takes to succeed.
Action Idea: Search within yourself and try to uncover your Magnificent Obsession. To help you search and discovery, start by asking, what you would you do with your life if you won a $ 1 00 000 000 lottery. Write down as many things that flow into your mind as possible. Stretch yourself, the more you think about this, the more deep and inspiring your answers will become. You know what your reason for being or magnificent obsession is; you have just locked it away. Dare to explore and uncover yours, it will give you the drive and passion to live your potential and to become the best version of you possible.

Most people know that mosquitoes are carriers of the West Nile Virus, but many of us are unaware that ticks are also important contributors. Tick borne West Nile Virus is a serious cause for concern in North America. While mosquitoes remain the major contributors in the transmission of the disease, ticks have recently been discovered to play a significant role. Birds that carry the virus frequently become infested with ticks, which in turn become infected with the virus. Subsequently, the infected tick transmits the virus to other birds, creating an elevated level of infected birds. Mosquitoes that bite infected birds become carriers of tick borne West Nile Virus.
Symptoms of West Nile Virus
West Nile Virus and tick borne West Nile Virus are derived from the same viral string; therefore, their symptoms are the same. Many individuals who become infected with the virus exhibit from very mild to no symptoms at all. However, when infection does cause the person to become ill, reactions usually consist of flu-like symptoms such as:
fever
chills
nausea
headaches
body aches
In the rare and more serious cases known as West Nile Encephalitis, the disease presents a rapid onset of symptoms such as:
confusion
moderate to severe headaches
very high fever
muscle weakness
loss of consciousness
In the very severe cases, West Nile Encephalitis can induce a state of coma, cause permanent brain damage, and/or death.
What safety precautions can you take?
Although once thought to be a temporary epidemic in North America, the West Nile Virus has spread so rapidly that it is now deemed to be a permanent recurring seasonal illness, much like the flu. A tempting method to eradicate the virus at this point would be to eliminate its natural host, birds. However, not only is that solution impossible, but it also brings no hope or guarantee as birds are migratory.
The best defence against contracting West Nile Virus or tick borne West Nile Virus is to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes and avoid areas where ticks flourish. During the summer months, this is easier said than done, but the following precautions are definitely helpful:
Wear long sleeves and pants outdoors
Cover your exposed skin with DEET insect repellent
Spray your clothing with a high level of DEET insect repellent
Eliminate all stagnant waters on your property (the ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes)
If you see a tick on your skin, remove it with tweezers by its head (it would be the closest part to your skin). Never crush or swat the tick as this action would encourage it to “latch on” even more tightly. To date, there have been no reported case of tick borne West Nile virus as a result of a direct bite from a tick to a human, but ticks do transmit other illnesses such as Lyme disease.
If you think you might have contracted West Nile Virus, or tick borne West Nile Virus, it is recommended that you consult a doctor immediately.

Every year mountain lions are spotted in many great outdoors locations throughout the country. Although it is not uncommon to have a mountain lion sighting in the country, it is somewhat alarming when they are spotted in highly trafficked areas, putting people and domestic animals at risk of being attacked.
Due to the coming summer months when people tend to be out and about in the great outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, etc., here is a refresher course on what to do if you come into contact with a mountain lion.
* Do not go into the country alone. It is best to bring a friend or at least a dog with you. Having a walking stick can also serve as some protection in the event of an attack. Making plenty of noise while out will prevent you from sneaking up on an unknowing lion, which may cause them to attack.
* Keep children close to you. Mountain lions seem to be especially drawn to small children. It is imperative that you keep them close to you and within your site at all times.
* Do not run away. Back away slowly, without losing eye contact with the mountain lion. Pick up your child without bending over. Do your best to stay upright, facing the lion. Running may stimulate the lion’s natural instinct to chase and attack.
* Make yourself appear as large as possible by raising your arms slowly. Do not bend over or crouch down to avoid looking like a four-legged animal. Throw rocks or sticks if they are within reach and speak in a loud, firm voice.
* Never approach a lion. If you see one, follow the instructions above and give it a chance to escape.
* If the mountain lion attacks, fight back. Try to remain standing to avoid being bitten about the face or neck. Use any objects available to protect yourself, such as a stick, hat, fishing pole, etc. Many people have survived mountain lion attacks by fighting back.
If you site a mountain lion, or an animal carcass that could be attributed to a lion kill, always contact your local Department of Fish and Game. Always be aware of your surroundings and that of your family, especially small children, when enjoying time in the great outdoors.
